Hope in Motion: Lending a Helping Hand to Victims of Typhoon Yolanda

“When people have nothing, every little thing means something.”

During November 2013, Perennial Cares had the opportunity to lend a helping hand to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda, one of the deadliest typhoons ever to make landfall in the Philippines. Thousands of homes were destroyed, millions of families were separated from one another, and survivors were desperate for help.

Through the generosity of our clients and friends, Perennial Cares was able to coordinate emergency relief efforts and raise enough funds to pack approximately 600 bags of relief goods. The relief packages were deployed all over the hardest‐hit areas in the Visayas region. This simple act of sacrifice has gone a long way in helping Typhoon Yolanda victims regain hope, rebuild their lives, one day at a time.

Perennial Cares responds wherever and whenever possible by helping to mobilize volunteers and resources in times of calamities and natural disasters. We are extremely grateful to our clients and friends who contributed their time and effort to help expedite the deployment of relief packages.

“Perennial Cares is inspired to do wonderful and great things. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of many, one step at a time.”
